A connecting structure of a shaft and a gear of a manual transmission is provided to improve force for supporting the shaft and the gear and to prevent a leaning effect of gear due to impellent force by applying directional characteristics to a spline. A manual transmission includes an outer wheel gear part(4) formed in an axial direction on a shaft and an inner wheel gear part(8) corresponding to the outer wheel gear part to be formed in a gear, in order to form a spline coupling state. In the outer wheel gear part of the shaft, an end of a tooth of one side is higher than an end of a tooth of the other side in order to form a predetermined gradient on the tooth. The inner wheel gear part coupled with the outer wheel gear part of the shaft has the tooth corresponding to the outer wheel gear part in order to form a mutual coupling state.
