Insulating material for coil of electric device and slot liner of rotating electric machine

A slot liner (18) placed between a core (10) and a coil conductor (16) of an electrical motor which is an electrical machine is formed in a multi-layered structure. The slot liner (18) has a structure having an insulation sheet of aggregated mica which is superior in mechanical strength and a layer including an insulation sheet of peeled mica which is superior in dielectric strength at high temperature. The slot liner includes a primary insulation sheet and reinforcement sheets. The reinforcement sheets are placed at both ends of the slot to interpose the primary insulation sheet and the core.
