An electric range is provided to remove offensive odor after fermentation of food by using an ultraviolet sterilization rod. An electric range(10) includes a heating space(13), an auxiliary heating space(14), and a lid(15). The heating space is arranged on a front surface of a housing(11) and equipped with a lid(12). The heating space has a built-in heater. The auxiliary heating space is equipped with a heater. The lid closes the auxiliary heating space. The electric range further includes a fermentation vessel(14a) received within the auxiliary heating space and contains foodstuff to be fermented.
