Production of magnesium-ammonium-phosphate and calcium-, magnesium-phosphate involves partial removal of ammonium content of regenerating sodium-chloride solution by magnesium-ammonium-phosphate precipitate production, and adding ferric(III) salt to reduce the phosphate content. Phosphate-free reduction of calcium and magnesium content, or for forming separately magnesium-ammonium-phosphate and calcium-, magnesium-phosphate or for removing calcium and magnesium ions in the form of phosphate precipitate.
