FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves setting thoracoports along posterior auxiliary line at the fifth intercostal space level and along anterior auxiliary line at the third and fifth intercostal spaces. Cervical incision and transverse abdominal one are done 3.0-3.5 cm long. Two elevator hooks are introduced to meet each other at the middle of sternum body for lifting the sternum. The hooks are pulled up by 3-10 cm. Total liposuction is carried out with lymph nodes being concurrently removed together with fat. The neoplasms are removed via thoracoports. ^ EFFECT: reduced risk of traumatic complications; wider range of access capabilities; reduced risk of tumor recurrence. |
