The invention relates to filtering antimicrobial materials. The inventive method for producing such a material consists in that a carrier selected from an alumosilicate, silicon dioxide, aluminium oxide and titanium dioxide group is washed, treated with a divalent stannum salt solution and afterwards with a silver nitrate solution, washed with demineralised water and is photoactivated in such a way that silver ions are recovered and a three-layre structure, consisting of silver nano-particles, silver oxides and silver clusters, is formed on the surface of the carrier. The thus obtained material is dried in a microwave oven. Said invention makes it possible to obtain a material exhibiting a high antimicrobial activity and good filtration characteristics. |
