METHOD FOR QUANTITATIVE DETERMINATION OF WATER CONTENT IN FUEL AND FUEL-LUBRICANT MATERIALS

Method for quantitative determination of water content in fuel and fuel-lubricant materials includes determination of mass or volumetric part of water (in percent) through heating sample of product to boiling, its distillation and measurement of condensed water. Heating of product is performed due to energy of absorption of infra-red rays with water at wavelength. Moisture that is evaporated at that is removed due to forced blasting.
