#CMT# #/CMT# The kit (1) has a prosthetic acetabulum body (3) defining an inner receiving volume (V) of a prosthetic e.g. femoral prosthesis, head. External rings (5, 7, 9) of a series (2) with respective different surface properties, are connected in a selective manner on the body in a manner to form respective prosthetic acetabulum. The body has a tubular and tapered collar (38) whose outer surface (32) is complementary to an inner surface (52, 72, 92) of the series. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Kit for forming a prosthetic acetabulum, placed in an articular bony cavity to cooperate with a prosthetic e.g. femoral prosthesis, head, by surgeon for surgical intervention. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The external rings of the series with respective different surface properties, are connected in a selective manner on the body in a manner to form respective prosthetic acetabulum in a rapid and easy manner, thus permitting to install the acetabulum in the bony cavity without any asperities, and hence permitting to offer prosthetic acetabulum with different surface properties to the surgeon among which surgeon can select the acetabulum which is adapted to particular pathology during surgical intervention. #CMT#DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS : #/CMT# The drawing shows a perspective view of elements of prosthetic acetabulum kit.
