#CMT# #/CMT# The system (1) has a left optical module and a right optical module to ensure dipped beam type lighting e.g. asymmetric lighting of path on which a vehicle circulates. The modules have light sources (8, 9) for asymmetric lighting with limited range from left and right sides of the path, respectively. The left and the right sources are illuminated selectively according to which the vehicle is used on a right or left traffic lanes. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Lighting system for a motor vehicle (claimed) adaptable to left side and right side road traffic. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The system permits to modify the functioning mode of the left and right optical modules in a simple manner using a switch in a cab interior of the motor vehicle, without directly intervening on the modules and without modifying the constitutive elements.
