#CMT# #/CMT# The frame has an armature with lateral parts each receiving a glass, and branches (16) each including an end (20) terminated by a free portion (28). The end has a pivoting unit (22) located between a magnetic unit (50) and the free portion. Each lateral part has a lateral edge (18) with a pivoting unit (30) and a magnetic unit (52). The pivoting units co-operate with each other to pivot the branches with respect to the armature between unfolded and folded positions in which the magnetic units contact each other and are separated from each other, respectively. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Frame for spectacles. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The branches can be forcibly removed from the lateral edges when the branches are in the unfolded position, thus ensuring easy dismembering of the frame in a case in order to limit the chance of wounding to a carrier of the frame. The configuration of the branches and the armature ensures rigid connection between the branches and the armature to maintain the armature in position in front of the eyes of the carrier. #CMT#DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS : #/CMT# The drawing shows a detailed schematic top view of a spectacle frame with armature and branches in detached position. 16 : Branches 18 : Lateral edge 20 : End 22, 30 : Pivoting units 28 : Free portion 50, 52 : Magnetic units. |
