The support has an outer frame surrounding an inner frame (2), and an elastomer member (3) surrounding the inner frame and encased in the outer frame. An intermediate frame angularly extends between two lateral ends below 360 degrees around a central axis (X). The member includes a slot (13) provided near one of the ends and delimits two hydraulic chambers (A1, B1), which are connected to each other by a restricted passage (C1). The slot is partially closed with pre-tensioning of the member with respect to an initial configuration of the slot before encasing the member in the outer frame. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a hydraulic anti-vibration support.
