The invention relates to the ferrous metallurgy, in particular to a method for obtaining of molten metal material, and relates to a melting furnace with plasma plant. Oxides melting is carried out by oxidizing plasma jet at weight ratio of oxygen consumption and natural gas consumption of 1.5-2.5. After complete oxide melting natural gas is additionally supplied in plasma jet along the cut of plasmotron nozzle. In plasma jet the conversion of natural gas into hydrogen and pyro-hydrogen is carried out. Before the batch metal pouting the supply of natural gas to plasma jet is stopped, and composition of gas, formed by plasma, is determined at weight ratio of oxygen consumption and natural gas consumption of 0.8-1. The furnace comprises plasmotron of indirect action, anode nozzle of which is coaxially placed relatively to the cylindrical cupped blank, rigidly fixed in the case. The case on the one side is connected by clips with plasmotrons, and on the other side – with a furnace caisson, and is installed with a gap relatively to the end surface of plasmatron with formation of a cavity which is connected to a branch pipe for supply of hydrocarbons and connected to an internal cavity of a cupped blank. Technical result: high degree of metal reducing fromthe melt is provided at the expense of increase of reducing gas quantity only at a stage of final reducing of starting material at plasma heating. |
