<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator that can lock moving parts, without having to install special members, such as lock ring, and to provide the actuator that drives this. <P>SOLUTION: The actuator (10) translationally moves an imaging lens and prevents image shake, and includes a fixed part (12); the moving part (14) where the imaging lens is installed; a moving part support means (18) for movably supporting the moving part; a drive means (20, 22) for translationally and rotationally moving the moving part; at least three engaging parts (17) arranged in the moving part; at least three engaging part receivers (15) to be abutted against each engaging part, respectively, when the moving part is rotated and moved to a predetermined locking position; and magnetic force attraction means (22, 23), which are arranged at the fixing part and the moving part, respectively, which apply an attractive force to each other, when approaching and exerting torque to the moving part, and which press each engaging part against each engaging part receiver, to thereby lock the moving part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
