<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily continue the traveling of a vehicle even when the cooling system of an internal combustion engine breaks down. <P>SOLUTION: An engine ECU executes a program including a step (S100) for calculating the rotation command value WPR(TGR) of a motor water pump; a step (S102) for detecting the number of revolutions WPR of the motor water pump; a step (S118) for performing motor traveling when the dialog of the motor water pump is detected based on the WPR(TGT) and the WPR (S104: YES), and the high temperature flag of engine cooling water is set (S108: YES); and a step (S120) for performing engine restriction traveling when the high temperature flag is not set (S108: NO). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
