<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an device for determining internal quality for selecting infrared irradiation timing and light quantity according to each of conveyed vegetables and fruits, without depending on the size, mounting attitude, conveyance pitch, or the like, and accurately determining the quality. <P>SOLUTION: The internal quality determination device 1 comprises a conveying means 2 for conveying the vegetables and fruits 6, a quality determining means (internal quality sensor 4) for nondestructively determining the quality of these vegetables and fruits 6 by radiating the infrared, and an image processing means for analyzing the shape of the vegetables and fruits 6. The image processing means is arranged near the upstream section of the internal quality sensor 4, the center-of-gravity position of the vegetables and fruits 6 is calculated by the image processing means, and the detection light is radiated, when the center of gravity of the vegetables and fruits 6 reaches the internal quality sensor 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
