PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device that surely makes a strobe emit light to a subject without time and effort in various compositions. SOLUTION: The digital camera has the strobe in which a light emitting part is supported so as to be freely swung in a horizontal direction and a vertical direction. The digital camera photographs a picture by detecting the face of a subject from a photographed image (S20), and driving the strobe so as to make the strobe emit light to the detected subject (S22, S24).
