PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting tool using a supporting rod, easily adjustable in height, on which acoustic equipment or a luminaire to be installed is placed. SOLUTION: The supporting rod with a built-in damper comprises: a mounting bracket 2 provided at one end of an inner pipe 1, a mounting bracket 5 provided at one end of an outer pipe 3; a fastening bracket 4 provided at the other end for fastening the inner pipe to be slidably fixed; at least one or more dampers 6, 7 provided in the inner pipe slidable in the outer pipe; and positioning fittings 8, 9, 10 provided at at least two places in the pipe for setting the axial centers of the dampers.
