PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing member which is excellent in an aptitude for high image quality and also is very excellent in durability for long use, to provide its manufacturing method, and to provide a fixing device and an image forming apparatus which are provided with the fixing member. SOLUTION: The fixing member has one or more layers on a carrier. At least the surface layer contains a fluorocarbon resin containing a fluoride pitch.
