PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bobbin retainer capable of easily applying force in an opening direction with respect to a cradle arm and facilitating removing work. SOLUTION: This bobbin retainer 18 is provided with two cradle arms 71, 72 swingably supported on a substrate 70, two bobbin retaining parts 73, 74 respectively arranged on the two cradle arms 71, 72, and a spring 75 energizing the two cradle arms 71, 72 in a closing direction. Further, a handle 80 for swinging the two cradle arms 71, 72 in an opening direction is arranged in the vicinity of the connection part of one cradle arm 71 with the other cradle arm 72.
