The trolley has a pushing device (15), a basket (5), and a chassis frame with wheels, where the basket is formed from different parts e.g. basket walls (5.1, 5.2, 5.3), basket base and a strap (5.4), which are made of plastic. An antenna system (2a) has antennas (2), where each antenna is designed as a transmitting antenna (2.1) or a receiving antenna (2.2). Each antenna is completely or partially surrounded by the basket walls, basket base and the strap. The data of each transmitting antenna is conveyed to a processing unit (13) via a wireless local area network and Bluetooth. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method of manufacturing a stackable shopping trolley (2) a method of reading radio frequency identification (RFID)-tags provided on goods inside a stackable shopping trolley.
