<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which can specify the genuineness of a document, the information for confirming the user of printing, and the print data of a document by reading out the image of the document; and to provide a document management apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The document management apparatus 1 prints a document 9 embedding additional information 8 recording the hash value of the entire print data encrypted by user's private key, the public key information of the user, the user information, and the document ID by electronic watermarking; and registers the additional information 8, the print data, and the hash value of the print data in a print record 21. A document image reader 6 reads out and analyzes the image of the document 9 embedding additional information to extract the additional information 8, and then the content of the additional information 8 thus extracted and the registered data in the print record 21 corresponding to the document ID 84 recorded in the additional information 8 are read out and outputted to a display 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
