PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a digital broadcast receiver immediately displaying appropriate information for disaster prevention when receiving emergency alarm broadcast. SOLUTION: The digital broadcast receiver is provided with a position information acquiring section (13), a disaster prevention information acquiring section (14), a disaster prevention information managing section (15), and a storage (16). The position information acquiring section (13) acquires position information of the digital broadcast receiver. The disaster prevention information acquiring section (14) acquires disaster prevention information to be given from an external system. The disaster prevention managing section (15) writes time information, the disaster prevention information acquired by the disaster prevention information acquiring section (14), and the position information acquired by the position information acquiring section (13) into the storage (16) in association with each other.
