PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a child seat capable of raising a side protection body of a back rest relative to a sitting part so as to meet the growth of an infant. SOLUTION: In the child seat provided with the sitting part; the back rest having the side protection body 4; and a liftable head rest 5, a supplemental member 7 connected to the head rest through a device 8 is provided below the back rest. The device shifts the supplemental member of the back rest in a direction opposite to the lifting direction when the head rest is lifted. The device has an element 12 arranged between a front plate and a rear plate constituting the back rest and rotatable around a central part 13. One end of the element is fixed to a connector connected to the head rest and the other end is fixed to a connector connected to the supplemental member of the back rest. A guide means 11 forming a guide when it is shifted between the front plate and the rear plate is provided on the head rest and the supplemental member of the back rest. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
