To process the surface of a woven viscose fabric, for wrapping sausage meat, the intersection points between the wefts and the warps are coated with a stable foam as a paste, applied by a rotary printing press. The paste has a solid content of >=40%. The coated fabric is dried for the encapsulated vapor content to be inflated.
