<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve stability of operation of an optical pickup for temperature variation in the optical pickup. <P>SOLUTION: A laser control part 12 is set on the basis of a previously stored current value correction table, and irradiation light quantity of a light beam 40 which irradiates the optical disk 100 is made almost constant by adjusting exiting light strength of the light beam 40 so that a set current value varying in accordance with temperature information indicating temperature in the optical pickup 20 coincides with the current value of an APC detection current indicating the exiting light strength of the optical beam 40 from a laser diode 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
