<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noncontact type DC detector and a DC detecting method. <P>SOLUTION: This DC detector includes a ring magnetic core (RC)3, a primary DC coil (C<SB>1</SB>)2 for passing a single or a compound-wound primary DC to be measured which penetrates the ring magnetic core (RC)3, and a 2nd coil (C<SB>2</SB>)4 rolled around the ring magnetic core (RC)3 to connect it with DC-measuring means (mA<SB>2</SB>)11. The detector excites the ring magnetic core (RC)3 by using half-wave rectified pulsating current, while connecting a 1st rectifying means 9 in the direction of blocking the current induced by the pulsating the current into the 2nd coil through the ring magnetic core to the DC-measuring means (mA<SB>2</SB>)11 and by measuring the current flowing into the DC-measuring means (mA<SB>2</SB>)11, based on the magnetic variation caused in the ring magnetic core (RC)3 between magnetism induced by the primary DC to be measured which has been passed in the direction of producing magnetic force of reverse polarity to the one produced in the primary DC coil (C<SB>1</SB>)2 by the pulsating current and magnetism induced by the pulsating current. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
