<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater stirring aerator which has no clogging problem or engine problem, and enables an easy supply of fine air bubbles. <P>SOLUTION: A stirring impeller 5 is arranged so as to be dipped in treating water 3 in a tank 2 and rotates in an axial line direction in a vertical direction to stir the treating water 3 to form a swirling circulation flow in the vertical direction. At this time, a rotor 6 of an air diffuser arranged so as to be dipped in the treating water 3 rotates substantially coaxially to the above axial line, by which the diffused air is carried out by a supply of gases containing oxygen to the swirling circulation flow from nozzle holes 16 provided in plural along the rotating direction of the rotor 6. Thus, the supply of the gases containing oxygen from the rotating nozzle holes 16 does not decrease the nozzle holes 16 like cloggings, and liberates the shearing force by the rotation to air bubbles to atomize the concerned air bubbles without giving a considerable power. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
