PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna for a wireless terminal capable of excellently realizing both of selection between two frequency bands (macro-tuning) and tuning of a channel in each frequency band (micro-tuning) and attaining furthermore downsizing. SOLUTION: A radiator 10 of the antenna 1 includes two regions and a switching element conducts or shuts off between the regions. Thus, the length of an actually operating part of the radiator is changed in two stages. A voltage controlling element is connected to the radiator between the switching element and ground. The voltage controlling element controls a voltage applied to the radiator depending on an externally applied voltage. Thus, the operating frequency of the radiator is furthermore fine-adjusted.
