PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display panel and a display panel testing method capable of simply evaluating electrical characteristics. SOLUTION: In the display panel 1 comprising an electrooptical material LV enclosed between a driving substrate and a counter substrate, the driving substrate is provided with: a plurality of scanning lines V and a plurality of signal lines H; pixel electrodes PE which apply charges of the signal lines H to the electrooptical material LV; switching elements 21 which are connected to the scanning lines V and switch application states to the pixel electrodes PE; output state switching parts 22 which switch output states of retention charges of the electrooptical material in accordance with testing signals from a testing device 3; and charge output lines DL to which the retention charges are output by the output state switching parts 22 relating to the scanning lines; wherein each charge output line DL is provided with a conduction state switching part 23, which conducts the retention charge output to the charge output line DL to the testing device 3 when a scanning signal is input, and an output line uniting part 24 which unites the charge output lines DL extended from the conduction state switching part 23.
