PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of improving sterilizing efficiency without changing ion concentration. SOLUTION: This air conditioner 100 comprises a duct 1 for circulating a gas, and a discharging portion 2 disposed inside of the duct 1, and the discharging portion 2 includes a holding means for holding a treated component included in the gas in a discharge area. The holding means includes a recessed face 22 formed on a surface of the discharging portion 2 and a pole 3 disposed near the discharging portion 2 as a means for accumulating the treated component included in the gas in the discharging area by disturbing the gas including the treated component, or a titanium apatite composite included in a dielectric body 21 of the discharging portion 2 as a means for capturing the treated component included in the gas in the discharging area.
