An air venting valve for a sewer pipe is provided to vent out the air in the sewer pipe by applying an external force to a control cap and the force is delivered to a moving spindle which forcibly pushes a guide bar down, which in turn moves a disk downward and vents the air in a body of the air venting valve out, thereby draining out the sludge and the dead water filled in the sewer pipe. An air venting valve has a control cap(180) installed on a cover(170). The control cap has a vertically moving spindle(181) which extends into a body(110) of the air venting valve. A rotary spindle(182) delivers an external force to the moving spindle. A fixing member(183), which supports the rotary spindle and prevents sideway rocking of moving spindle, is fixed on the cover by wrench bolts(184). On an inner peripheral of a through port(121) of a lid(120), guide membranes(122) are installed. The guide membranes have plural holes, and supports one end of a guide bar(150) projected above a disk(130). The disk is installed inside a disk guide(130), and one end of the disk, which contacts the through port of the lid, is in a mushroom shape. The upper end of the guide bar projects a predetermined length through the upper center of the disk, and contacts wit the tips of moving spindle. When the external force is applied, the moving spindle forcibly pushes the guide bar down and moves the disk downward. This downward movement of the disk causes the air in the body to vent out through the space between the lid and the disk.
