<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can use an open/close cover having the same body form even when the model type of an apparatus is changed, by employing a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: An interfering member 43 disposed on an open/close cover 41 to be rendered into a non-interference or interference state with a locking mechanism 42 of an image forming member to be detached from and attached to the apparatus body 10 is configured to be moved or added in different positions of the open/close cover 41 responding to differences in the configuration of the locking mechanism 42. Thus, the body form of the open/close cover 41 can be maintained identical by appropriately moving or adding the interference member 43 according to the model type of an image forming apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
