PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten time required for symbol positioning and to perform a natural symbol positioning operation. SOLUTION: In the positioning E of a symbol in a fluctuation pattern, a position correcting pattern for rotationally moving a symbol displaying body at a required positioning speed is selected and set, and a moving amount corresponding to the deviation amount of a display symbol before a positioning processing and a final stop symbol after symbol fluctuation is stopped is obtained in a fixed time. Also, the position correcting pattern is constituted by combining the plural positioning speeds, and when the symbol displaying body is rotationally moved by a set time each for the respective positioning speeds, the positioning E of the symbol is completed in the fixed time at all times.
