PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for preventing and/or treating diseases of the skin concerning inflammation of the skin. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a method for non-therapeutically using at least one C-glycoside derivative represented by general formula (1) in order to prevent and/or treating the sensitive skin and/or scalp, e.g. in order to prevent and/or treating reaction of the skin selected from erythema, itching, exothermic feeling, feeling of burn, stinging feeling and tense feeling.
