PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treated silica prompting the vulcanization rate of a silica compound while keeping excellent rubber properties of the silica compound and a rubber composition using the same. SOLUTION: The surface treated silica is treated with an amine compound or simultaneously with the amine compound and a silane coupling agent and is preferably treated with 0.5-5 wt.% amine compound and 2-15 wt.% silane coupling agent to silica in an organic solvent.
