PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing which can easily discharge to outside the muddy water or the like having intruded into a seal groove formed in the bearing inner ring. SOLUTION: Rolling elements 3 are interposed between the raceways of the inner ring 1 and an outer ring 2, and a shoulder 15 is formed between the seal groove 7 provided at the side of the inner ring 1 raceway 5 and each of the inner ring 1 ends. A seal member 4 is fitted on the inside circumferential surface of the outer ring 2 confronting the seal groove 7. At the inside circumferential surface of the seal member 4, a neck part 12 having a thin wall thickness is formed, which is equipped at the forefront with a main lip 16 in contact with the raceway side wall 14 of the seal groove 7 and a labyrinth lip 17 protruding to over each shoulder part 15. The inside circumferential surface 20 of the main lip 16 confronting the seal groove 7 and a slope 22 with its diameter reducing inward to the inside circumferential part of the labyrinth lip 17 are formed continuously. This causes the muddy water attached to the slope 22 of the labyrinth lip 17 to move outward in the axial direction along the slope 22 with the centrifugal force due to rotation of the seal member 4, so that the muddy water can easily be discharged outside the bearing.
