PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device for reliably locking a bolt on which compressive stress axially acts. SOLUTION: On one side face of a mounting bracket 2 where a nut 9 is mounted, an annular protruded portion 10 is formed from which the peripheral edge of a screw hole 7 is protruded to the side of the nut 9. In one side face of the nut 9 on the side of the mounting bracket 2, a recessed portion 11 is formed to which the annular protruded portion 10 is fitted.
