PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent amplitude of a vibration component from becoming large caused by pressure pulsation generated by returning part of refrigerant gas to a low-pressure space from each suction compression chamber in compression stroke so as to reduce discharge volume of compressed gas, in a gas compressor in which the compression stroke is performed in each suction compression chamber in two opposed spaces interposing a rotor therebetween so as to make a pair. SOLUTION: In the gas compressor 10, bypass passages 40, 41 connecting a cylinder chamber 24 and the low-pressure space 32 in a portion where each suction compression chamber 31 is in the compression stroke are disposed to correspond to both opposed spaces 28. The low-pressure space 32 is extended to surround a rotational shaft 18 of the rotor 25, and is connected with a suction port 16 at an intermediate position in an extension direction. Each of extended end 32a, 32b sides is connected with each of the bypass passages 40, 41. The lengths C1, C2 of the bypass passages 40, 41 are equal to each other from the cylinder chamber 24 to the suction port 16 through the low-pressure space 32. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
