PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm the operation of a switch as a simplex independently and to prevent malfunction of a switch even when an electromagnetic interference wave exerting an influence is applied. SOLUTION: The switch is an electrostatic capacity type switch, which is constructed by a conductive pattern part, and includes: an analog switch part to which a conductive pattern is connected; a capacitor part; a frequency conversion part for generating frequency data by a capacitor, resistance and a timer; a control part for reading the frequency data of the timer part; a memory part storing the read frequency data; and a serial communication part for transferring the on and off states of the switch to another device. According to an electrostatic capacity type temperature control method, when the switch uses one conductive pattern as a pattern for temperature reference or all conductive patterns without disposing a temperature sensor element, the switch uses a circuit made by a capacitor, resistance and a timer as a circuit for temperature reference to follow up a change in temperature.
