PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device, more particularly a liquid crystal display device and a method of driving the same. SOLUTION: There is provided the liquid crystal display device including a liquid crystal panel which includes a number of pixels having polarity array of first and second two-dot inversion system and has a number of common wiring lines which are horizontally extended to receive the supply of a common voltage, and includes a driving circuit section for converting one of first and second dot inversion systems to another one.
