PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor, image forming apparatus and process cartridge capable of stably providing good image quality over a long period of time. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor includes a conductive support and a photosensitive layer disposed on the conductive support, wherein the photosensitive layer has a first functional layer containing at least one salt selected from the group consisting of sulfates, sulfites, persulfates, bisulfites and thiosulfates and a charge generating material.
