PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device that can stably perform a write protection function. SOLUTION: The device includes: a liquid crystal panel; a first printed circuit board mounting a drive circuit configured to drive the liquid crystal panel; a second printed circuit board mounting a timing controller configured to supply a predetermined control signal and a predetermined data signal to the drive circuit and mounting a power supply section configured to supply a predetermined voltage to the drive circuit; a flexible printed circuit board configured to supply the predetermined control signal and data signal supplied from the second printed circuit board to the first printed circuit board; and a memory device mounted on the second printed circuit board and performing a write protection function in response to a predetermined voltage supplied via the flexible printed circuit board.
