PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pendulum device, rationally constituted so that a watch movement will not be affected by magnetism. SOLUTION: The pendulum device 100, provided in the watch 1 having the movement 40 for driving hands 50, is equipped with a pendulum 200 provided with a magnet 220, a support body (middle plate 30) for swingably supporting the pendulum, and a pendulum drive means 300 for driving the pendulum to act on the magnet. The pendulum is provided with a magnetic substance 240 to be positioned between the movement and the magnet, and the magnetic substance is so constituted as to pass through between the movement and the pendulum drive means, accompanying the swinging of the pendulum.
