PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic gas meter capable of suppressing current consumption, along with reducing the variations in the performance of transmission and in reception, due to lowering of the voltage of a battery. SOLUTION: This meter is provided with: a transmitting circuit 23 for sending a transmission signal to one ultrasonic sensor to generate an ultrasonic wave, a receiving circuit 25 for detecting the signal received from the other ultrasonic sensor for receiving the generated ultrasonic waves; a control circuit 10 for computing gas flow rate, based on the propagation time of the ultrasonic waves acquired by measuring the time interval starting from the outputting of the transmission signal up to the detection of the received signal; a display element 60 for displaying the computed gas flow rate; the battery 70 for supplying power to the control circuit, booster circuits 90a-90c for boosting the output voltage of the battery; and voltage stabilization circuits 110a-110c for stabilizing the output voltages of the booster circuits to the lowest operating voltages of the transmitting circuit, the receiving circuit, and for the displaying element, and for suppling the stabilized voltages to the trasnmitting circuit, the receiving circuit, and the display element as power sources.
