PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain inclination deformation of a center pillar by absorbing collision load upon side surface collision more or less between a body side panel and the center pillar. SOLUTION: In this vehicle body side portion structure, a lower edge portion of the center pillar 30 is supported by a cross member 20 from the inside in a vehicle width direction, and an outer side surface of the center pillar 30 is covered with a body side panel 50. The center pillar 30 is formed in a hollow and closed cross-section state, the first reinforcement material 41 is disposed at the position on an extension line of the cross member 20 inside the center pillar 30, and the second reinforcement material 42 is disposed at the position on the extension line of the cross member 20 and the first reinforcement material 41 in an area formed from the center pillar 30 and the body side panel 50.
