A device and a method for providing customized navigation by using a navigation game are provided to enable a user to learn the path to a desired destination in a terminal equipped with a navigation function by using learning through the navigation game embedded in the terminal, and offer the customized navigation according to the driving pattern of each user. A key input part(112) outputs a key signal corresponding to key input. A memory(106) stores a driving pattern learning table(107) for storing a score of each item according to user management against a traffic condition by using at least one item discriminating the traffic condition of a navigation game. A controller(100) checks whether to apply a real traffic condition to the navigation game when input for a navigation game mode and a starting/destination place is received, and outputs a screen applying traffic condition information received from a DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) receiver(102) to a digital map for the navigation game when application of the real traffic condition is selected. A display part(110) displays the screen output from the controller. The DMB receiver receives the real traffic condition information through TPEG(Transport Protocol Experts Group).
