An apparatus for distributing radio frequency signals using a data cable system, comprising means for receiving a radio frequency (RF) signal, means for identifying at least one unoccupied channel on a data cable system, means for converting the RF signal to the frequency associated with an unoccupied channel, means for inserting the converted signal into the cable, means for extracting the converted signal from the cable, means for converting the extracted signal to a transmission frequency and means for transmitting the signal at the transmission frequency.
