<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing apparatus of an information recording medium by which a satisfactory information surface is formed on a light transmissible UV curing sheet, and to provide a manufacturing method of the information recording medium wherein a satisfactory reproducing signal can be obtained using the manufacturing apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: After a projecting and recessed pattern is transferred to the light transmissible UV curing sheet 5 of a substrate 2 from a metal original plate 34 of a resin original plate 25, the light transmissible UV curing sheet 5 can be cured by irradiation with UV while a pressurized state is maintained by using press transfer devices 40a and 40b each to be the manufacturing apparatus of the information recording medium, Thereby, the satisfactory information surface can be formed on the light transmissible UV curing sheet 5.
