<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assisting device for raising an upper half of the body, to raise the upper half of the body straight forward by means of a pull rod with a foot ring put around the foot, so as to solve instability of conventional assisting device that is used on the side of bedding. <P>SOLUTION: The assisting device 1 for raising the upper half of the body is composed of the pull rod 2 which is long enough to reach the foot as its end is held by hand, and the foot ring 3 comprising a thick leather belt bent and formed into a roughly triangular form, and strongly mounted by a lock means 4 at one end part, with a nonslip projection 7 provided at a handle part 6 at the other end part like a baseball bat. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
