<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sherbet-like drink drinkable as it is as liquid at room temperature or in cold storage, homogeneously containing minute ice crystals by freezing, and having soft and smooth feeling on the tongue, and to provide PET bottled drink drinkable as it is from a tap of a PET container even with the lapse of long time after taking out from a refrigerator and having soft and smooth feeling on the tongue. <P>SOLUTION: A sherbet-like drink composition contains saccharide containing starch sugar. Dextrose equivalent DE value of saccharide of (A)%, soluble solid content of the drink of B%, and viscosity C mPa s of the drink satisfy conditions shown by relations: A/B=2-18; (A/B)/C=0.4-8; and (A/B)+C=3-20.
